Software Development Life Cycle

Software Development Life Cycle is abbreviated as SDLC.

It is general solution to any software problem.

SDLC consists of 6 stages:

1. Planning.
2. Analysis.
3. Design.
4. Implementation.
5. Testing and integration.
6. Maintenance.

In planning and analysis stage, we have to do research of what are needs of people, take surveys, etc.

In design stage, we think on questions such as which language(like Python, Java, C, C++, etc.) should we use to create application, how to make application more user friendly, etc.

In implementation stage, actual code is written.

In testing and integration stages, errors are removed from code and solution is made available to user.

In maintenance stage,  maintenance of system is looked upto. e.g: Updating software time and again, etc.

Summary:

SDLC is general solution to any software problem.
