Difference between RAM and ROM

RAM	ROM
Full form of RAM is Random Access Memory.	Full form of ROM is Read Only Memory.
RAM is temporary memory i.e. it is volatile memory.	ROM is permanent memory i.e. it’s non-volatile in nature.
RAM does not has OS installed in it.	In ROM, OS is installed.
Any program to be executed is stored in RAM.	Any program is never stored in ROM.
RAM is further subdivided into: DRAM SRAM	RAM is further subdivided into: PROM EPROM EEPROM
